Work in progress! Last update Jan 19th, 2008
Introduction
Yet again a TiVo project. The old project was no
longer really in use,
as it was followed by a Microsoft XBOX (with xbmc). This is really good fun
for watching movies etc. The recording feature never really worked on
Frivoo, so I continued scheduling those by hand (and cron) and used the Xbox
as a frontend.
Inspired by others I decided it was time however to change that and have a
look in the MythTV. This seemed like a really
great tool for scheduling recordings and managing them. So I set out to
work. In the time between the old project and this
one the hardware has been upgraded significantly, but basic recording
worked.
